As if the casinos, night clubs, designer boutiques, fancy restaurants and all the glitter normally associated with Las Vegas weren't enough of an attraction, the PGA Fall Expo, Aug. 25-27, is being held simultaneously with the largest apparel trade shows. Thus, it forms a merchandise buyer's virtual dream - call it the "ultimate fashion week."

The various international shows and PGA Fall Expo converge in one place, at one time, for one of the most influential gatherings in the fashion industry. Attendees preview next season's fashion must-haves in every category of apparel and accessories imaginable.

At the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Las Vegas Hilton, MAGIC lets you shop more than 20,000 product lines from around the world, all in one location. Daily runway fashion shows feature the newest trends and hottest product offerings from standout exhibitors of men's, women's and children's apparel.

The PGA Fall Expo, held at Mandalay Bay Convention Center, fills 55,000 square-feet of interactive exhibit space with more than 400 vendors introducing the latest golf merchandise. Familiar top apparel brands such as Ashworth, Under Armour, Bobby Jones, Jamie Sadock, Puma, Ping Apparel, Trigelle, Ben Hogan Apparel, Antigua, Bette & Court, Callaway Golf Apparel, Cutter & Buck, Greg Norman Collection, Lija, Sport Haley, Sunderland, Birdie, Carnoustie, Tail and Claudia Romana are just a sample of the market leaders showing their collections.

"The PGA Fall Expo has become an especially valuable opportunity to reach influential retailers and PGA Professionals during Las Vegas fashion week and in a more intimate atmosphere than Orlando," said Nikki DiGennaro, Norman Collection PR and Event Specialist. "The new GNC Spring 2009 line offers innovative technology fresh to the market called TCT, Temperature Control Technology, and the popular ML50 technology will now be available within our Performance Capsule, offering retailers more flexibility. We expect positive reactions and look forward to the show."

New golf/lifestyle apparel designers make their debut, and first-time exhibitors are excited to join the upscale venue. DKNY Golf by Jamie Sadock, Amongst Friends Golf Apparel, Birdy & Grace, Gogie Girl, Lela Designs, Pink Tee-Dressed to a Tee, Quagmire, and Vinci Designs represent a sample of what you can expect to find at PGA Fall Expo.

"We are very excited to roll the dice at our first Las Vegas PGA Show," said Geoff Tait, co-founder of Quagmire Golf, outfitters of recent Canadian Open winner Chez Reavie. "We've had such an amazing year so far, and the launch of our Spring 2009 line at Expo will be the icing on the cake. Buyers really shouldn't miss such a great opportunity to see next season's collections - especially those from western North America."

Also out in full force at Expo - footwear and accessories.Walter Genuin shoes, TAG Heuer Sport Vision, Crocs, Aerogreen Golf shoes, Amy Leiner jewelry, Aussie Chiller hats, Sundog Eyewear, Glove It Nicole Miller golf gloves, Oka b. spa shoes, and Imperial Headwear are a smattering of exhibitor names that will be on hand representing these categories.

"Fashion takes on an even greater significance at this year's PGA Fall Expo," said PGA Shows group vice president Ed Serveral. "We have the strongest presentation of apparel brands in recent years and the earlier timing of the PGA Fall Expo nicely coincides with fashion week in Las Vegas. More than 120 top apparel Expo vendors will be presenting their very latest lines for Spring 2009, plus lifestyle accessory companies are really making an impact in golf retail and can be found in great form on the Expo show floor."
