Sponsor logos are a familiar sight when watching a professional golf event. They pop up just about everywhere on a player's shirt, cap or even on the back pocket of pants.

But with large belt buckles becoming more of a key fashion accessory, this has also created body billboard space that can be advertised upon - and no doubt making marketing executives grin from ear to ear.

Here are some examples:

• Chris Wood, who finished as the low amateur at the British Open, wears J. Lindeberg. If you're familiar with the brand name but perhaps not the logo, you should be now. The Lindeberg belt could be seen from just about every camera angle on Wood's 6-foot, 5-inch frame.

The J. Lindeberg Bridger Pro, a 100 percent leather belt with buckle in a brushed steel finish, comes in black or white, and has a width of 3.5 cm.

Suggested retail: $99. On the web: www.jlindeberg.com.

• There is probably no more recognizable logo in sport today than the Nike swoosh. This epoxy white leather belt for women offers function and fashion on the course, as it coordinates with Nike Golf footwear and apparel, and easily snaps on and off for quick style changes. The belt comes in pink/white and yellow/white color combos and has a 30 mm leather strap.

Suggested retail: $48. On the web: www.nike.com.

• Meow says the Puma cat when you wear this high shine, genuine leather belt with a heavy metal, glossy finish buckle. The cut out Puma cat logo leaps off the black or white belt, and is available in sizes small to extra large. The shine belt is a popular item and sells out very quickly, so you might have to exercise patience obtaining one.

Suggested retail: $60. On the web: www.puma.com.

• The Adidas Trophy belt featuring the distinctive three-stripe Adidas brandmark is a stylish addition to your accessory arsenal. Show off your championship look in this black, brown or white high quality split leather belt with brushed metal interchangeable buckle. Available in sizes 28 to 44.

Suggested retail: $49.99. On the web: www.adidasgolf.com.

• For the younger generation of golfers, Tattoo Golf's trendy skull buckle with golf club cross bones design just might give you an extra edge as you strut the fairways. The all-leather construction belts are embossed with the same logo all the way around. The buckle is made of pewter and available in silver matte or black gloss finish. Choose from black, brown or white.

Suggested retail: $39.99. On the web: www.tattoogolf.com.

• Wild horses cannot keep you away from admiring Ralph Lauren's blue label horse head belt in tan vachetta leather. Crafted in Italy, the stylish piece features an interlocking horse head buckle made of gleaming brass and has the signature Ralph Lauren monogram at one end and secured with a single stud closure. It measures 1 5/8-inches wide.

Suggested retail: $695. On the web: www.ralphlauren.com.
