Not for air conditioning purposes, but check this out - a hole built into a shirt's collar to hold your sunglasses. Like we said, who would ever think of such a thing? Pat Boyko of "O in One," that's who. An avid outdoors person, including golf, Boyko simply saw a need and set her sights on pursuing an innovative idea. "I grew tired of putting sunglasses on my head only to have them fall off when you least expect it," Boyko said. "Both on the golf course or off, whether you're running, cycling, or walking anywhere, placing sunglasses in the trademark "O" - or hole - located in your shirt collar allows for a convenience never imagined before. It can't get easier than that." The unique golf shirts and accessories of "O in One" also originate from a rather uncommon place - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Known as, "The Land of Living Skies," Saskatchewan is more than a quarter million square miles in size, and is located in between the provinces of Alberta to the west and Manitoba to the east, and just above the U.S. states of North Dakota and Montana. Contrary to popular belief, one half of the province is covered by forest, one-third by farmland and one-eighth by fresh water. Naturally fishing, hunting, and winter sports are abundant, but this slice of Canada is also home to approximately 87 stunningly beautiful golf courses and, as you might assume, many have the words elk, deer, bear and evergreen included in its name. The "O" trademarked design and company name, "O in One," signifies the glorious achievement of a hole in one. For most of us who merely strive to consistently keep our ball in the fairway, such a feat, (or fluke), would launch us in to giddy clubhouse bragging, and insisting on a front-page spot in the monthly newsletter. Out-of-body impulses, no matter how annoying would occur - like the guy on the FedEx/Kinkos commercial who brings in his scorecard to have enlarged and makes the sales person announce his hole in one over the store intercom. Boyko sees the accomplishment a bit more Zen-like. "A hole in one epitomizes the success of a great game of golf," she said. "Whether you have already succeeded in scoring one or many, it is one's idea that if you believe in your capabilities, vision, and the prospect of the idea, at some point in your game it will happen. And of course it never hurts to have a little luck on your side." Adding a philosophical analogy, Boyko likens the metaphor of getting a hole in one in the game of golf to the game of life. "It's about individual achievement, surpassing your goals, and believing in yourself," Boyko said. "The capabilities are endless for our own ace in life." The distinctive and inspirational line of "O in One" golf shirts not only hold sunglasses, but also have a karabiner clip designed to conveniently safe keep car keys. The apparel collection includes men's cotton/polyester polos in solid blue, navy, sage, white, crimson, and taupe. Men's ribbed cotton/poly polos are available in blue, green, orange, and yellow. Both styles are priced at $49. Women's tops come in a selection of v-neck ribbed cotton/poly, v-neck cotton/spandex, and cotton pique. A variety of colors are available, and prices range from $19.99 to $49. Velour golf towels and golf caps round out the product selection.
