Getting the look

Lacoste scored a one-two punch at the U.S. Women's Open as it outfitted the champion and runner-up, respectively.

The crocodile logo marched up the 18th fairway at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club on Sunday as Christie Kerr earned her first major and Lorena Ochoa finished two strokes behind.

As well, FootJoy was on the feet and hand of Kerr, who wore a pair of Custom Classics golf shoe in blue patent with white buckles in the final round. She also wore the StaSof glove.

Kerr and Ochoa both played well over the four days and looked great in the final round -- Kerr in her red polo and navy skort, Ochoa in a gerbera pink polo and Bermudas.

Who ever thought regular polo shirts could look so good?

Lacoste must have known when it introduced the "new essential" in women's polos. They feature a little stretch and a figure-flattering longer shape. The new stretch polo ($75) and stretch pique polo ($72) both feature a cotton pique material blend, two- or five-button placket, ribbed polo collar and armbands, vented hem and signature croc appliqué. Plus, they're machine washable.

Morgan Pressel, who contended until fading late on Sunday, used her chic, white-hot Callaway sunglasses to hide tears after dribbling her ball into a bunker on 18 en route to a double bogey.

But most of the time she was styling in the fashion forward frame style, also available in black. Typically a modern sunglass like this has the logo of Fendi, Gucci or Chanel on the rims, but Callaway Eyewear is fusing its neox lens technology, which provides performance and function, with a high-end couture look.

Additional features of this C410 model -- and others -- are increased sun and wind protection. It also features a shatterproof 8-base wrap lens, a secure, comfortable fit, and ergonomic lines.
