Holiday Gifting

You didn't, did you? Really? You stood in line for more than an hour and expected there to be enough PlayStation 3's left while everyone else camped out for days? Silly.

Be honest though, wouldn't you rather see your kids playing outdoors a little more these days? Sunshine, vitamin D, fresh air, stretching their muscles - OK, all of that, but you really just want them to be seen. Dressed so cute people will do a double take. Clothes might not be high on their list for Santa, but since you are Santa -- oops, you still believe? Sorry -- you call the shots.

adidas Golf premiers its Holiday Kids collection of clothes for the tykes -- to wear for golfing, school, the mall and playing video games. The complete line of products for juniors incorporates the same performance technologies -- including ClimaCool, in select items -- as adidas adult apparel and outerwear.

adidas youth footwear unifies kid's desire for an athletic looking shoe that still provides comfort and performance.

For girls, a selection of skorts and tops in pink/white solids and diamond print patterns let you mix and match for a variety of outfits. Pair the white ClimaCool solid pique polo that has mesh princess panels and open hem sleeves, with the print skort featuring tee and scorecard pockets, for a sporty cuter-than-cute look.

Add the ClimaCool visor, also in pink and with moisture wicking sweatband and UV protection, and complete the ensemble with a pair of pink striped University AT golf shoes, and your little girl will be the envy of her peers.

For boys, dress Junior in a red, white, blue or black ClimaCool colorblock quarter zip polo that has underarm mesh gussets and contrast adidas brandmark on the back neck yoke, with any of his khaki shorts, and he'll be ready to go from the golf course to the arcade and hang with his friends.

Add a little warmth with adidas ClimaProof wind shirt in red, black or navy. It's wind and water resistant, and can easily fold up in a golf bag. He might even forget about the word game console when he opens a pair of athletic inspired Junior Tour Traxion golf shoes that offer serious young golfers a superior combination of comfort, performance and style, whether his goal is to break par or simply beat Dad.

Both boy's and girl's apparel are offered in sizes small (8-10), medium (10-12), large (12-14) and x-large (14-16). Suggested retail prices range from $35-$45 for tops, $40-$45 for bottoms, $50 for the boys wind shirt, $45-$70 for adidas golf shoes, and $16-$20.00 for visors and hats.

You could outfit an entire golf team of kids and still have money left in your wallet to treat yourself to a little something from Santa compared to the price of a PS3 -- which, by the way, was recently selling on eBay for $1,460, a healthy 143 percent premium over its retail price. Now that's really silly.
